After working in customer service and the restaurant industry for most of my adult life, I decided to go back to school in search of a career in Information Technology. I went to community college where I received an Associates of Science in Microcomputer Technician, but I came to a realization that I wanted something more. I worked hard to complete all the course required to be able to transfer to a 4-year university. I applied to three universities and was accepted to all of them. I chose California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, because I knew their hands on programs would challenge me to becoming who I want to be. I am currently working to achieve a Bachelors of Science in Computer Information Systems with a career path into Cyber Security and Computer Forensics.
